Day 1: Nairobi

Upon arrival in Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative at the arrival lounge and taken to a hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you will rejoin your driver guide who will take you for a visit to the Nairobi National Museum and a short Nairobi city tour. Lunch will be at the Carnivore Restaurant before afternoon visit to the Bomas of Kenya for a show case of traditional way of life of the different ethnic groups found in Kenya. Thereafter, you will be taken to your hotel for check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart driving to Amboseli National park, home to the proud and brightly painted Maa tribe of the Masai. Arrival at your lodge or camp for check in and lunch. In the afternoon, rejoin your driver guide for game viewing until late afternoon. The acacia woodlands and grasslands of the reserve shelter an abundance of game including buffalo, lion, cheetah, hyena, zebra and wildebeest. Amboseli National Park lies below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free standing mountain in the world. Its snow capped peak will dominate the background while you marvel at the wildlife and scenery. Streams from Kilimanjaro surface in the centre of Amboseli, creating swamps that attract and support a rich diversity of wild animals and birdlife. Most of Amboseli is flat and dusty and so the best spots for game viewing are these wetlands.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart for your morning game drive in the reserve, returning back to your lodge or camp by mid day for lunch. In the afternoon, depart for a visit to a Maasai village ending with your game drive in the reserve then return back to your lodge or camp for little relaxation before dinner.

Day 4: Amboseli - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, grab your picnic lunches and depart driving past Nairobi and the Great Rift Valley to the shores of Lake Nakuru arriving in the afternoon for your game viewing until sunset, then proceed to your lodge/ camp for dinner and overnight. Famous as the home to thousands of greater and lesser flamingo, Lake Nakuru national park hosts large flocks of flamingoes, pelicans and other bird species

Day 5: Lake Nakuru -Lake Baringo/Bogoria

After breakfast, pick up packed lunches and depart to Lake Baringo via Lake Bogoria famous for its hot water geysers and flamingoes. In the afternoon, proceed to the shores of the nearby Lake Baringo for dinner and overnight at your lodge / camp

Day 6 : Lake Elementaita

Morning breakfast at your lodge / camp before departing for a boat ride in Lake Baringo. Its freshwater's are an oasis in the arid plains. This is the traditional home of the Njemps tribe, who you will have an opportunity to interact with. The Njemps are a unique people who are the only pastoral, cattle herding, tribe who also fish. Among other pastoral tribes such as the Masai, eating fish is a taboo. The 129 sq km lake is well stocked with fish, and attracts many Pelicans, Cormorants and Fish Eagles. The Lake is also well populated with Crocodile. The lake itself is truly beautiful, surrounded by volcanic ranges that stretch as far as the eye can see. After lunch, proceed to Lake Elementaita for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, pick up packed lunches and drive via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. Arrival Masai Mara for your afternoon game viewing until late afternoon when you proceed to your lodge or camp for check in and dinner. Masai Mara is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Maasai Mara is blessed with a permanent water supply, Maasai Mara has a permanent population of plains game. The "big five" - elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino are quite common. Arrival on time for lunch, then afternoon game viewing will follow until late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your Camp/lodge

Day 8: Masai Mara National Reserve

Day spent game-viewing in the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. With over 450 species of birds and animal species, explore the plains and rolling hills for a chance to spot the elephant, black-manned lion, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, and with diverse species of hoofed animals. This afternoon there will be a cultural talk before dinner to learn about the Masai way of life.

Day 9: Masai Mara National Reserve

Early morning game drive returning back to your lodge / camp for full breakfast. After breakfast, opt for a nature walk with an experienced naturalist. It offers an opportunity to interact closely with nature and learn the minor details that cannot be experienced in a vehicle. Lunch at the lodge / camp then afternoon game drive returning back for dinner and overnight

Day 10 Lamu

After breakfast in Masai Mara, depart for your morning game drive en route to the airstrip for your schedule flight to Nairobi departing at 1015 hrs arriving at the Wilson Airport Nairobi at 1145 hrs met and transferred to the Carnivore Restaurant for early lunch, then back to the airport for your schedule flight to Lamu departing at 1400 hrs, arriving Lamu at 1550 hrs. Met and transferred to your hotel for afternoon at leisure and dinner (extra cost payable directly at your hotel)

Day 11, 12, 13 Lamu

3 days at leisure at your hotel with available options at an extra cost and arranged from the hotel’s reception for visits to cultural attractions around Lamu. Lamu Old Town is a unique and rare historical living heritage with more than 700 years of continuous settlement. Since it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO In 2001. Lamu is also unique in that it is host to three museums and a Fort with an impressive exhibition space, namely: Lamu Museum, known for its exquisite Swahili ethnography exhibits, Lamu Fort, built in 1814 by Bwana Zeid Ngumi the last Sultan of Lamu ,German Post Office Museum showing the post office when it was operational in the late 19-20 th Century., and Swahili House Museum, a restored 18th century house, reflecting the life of privileged Lamu Swahilis. Guided tours to various archaeological and historical sites can also be arranged, whether to neighbouring Manda Island or further afield to Pate Island, where the ruins of the earliest known Swahili settlement of Shanga – dated to the 8th century AD – can be visited. Lamu is vehicle free and foot is the normal method of transport but if walking is too much donkeys can be hired!

Day 14 Depart

You will be transferred for your schedule flight to Nairobi departing at 1610 hrs arriving Nairobi at 1800 hrs, met and transferred for dinner. After dinner and depending on your home bound flight departure time, you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your home bound flight.
