The tea farm is about an hours drive away from the hustle and bustle from Nairobi and as such makes a welcome day trip from the capital for adults and children!
Situated twenty miles from Nairobi, the farm has been the family home of one of the earliest tea growers in Kenya. The farm dates back to 1910 and the present house, set amidst colourful gardens, has been home to four generations. Tea Farm Cottages are situated at 7200 feet in a truly magnificent garden with views of the spectacular Mount Kilimanjaro and the Ngong hills. The farm is a farmhouse to four generations of the first family to plant and make tea in Kenya.
